Dry Ice Pellets

Solid form of carbon dioxide is referred to as dry ice. Dry ice sublimates from solid state into gaseous state. Due to this very fact, it is commonly used for temporary refrigeration as it does not have a liquid state at normal atmospheric pressure. Dry ice pellets are more specifically used in dry food production and storage along with as being the main ingredient for dry ice blasting machines. It sublimates slightly quicker than blocks due to their density but are commonly used in the biomedical field to transport organs, store blood, etc.
